Chris of Cobham's Story

4 years ago I heard from a friend about the Camino routes into Santiago, and walked the English Camino from Reading to Santiago with my sons and a friend. 2 years later our group of Pilgrims has grown to 11 walking from Winchester to Canterbury in 13 stages. We sought friendship, meeting new people along the way, a sense of peaceful contemplation and to honour the countless numbers of pilgrims throughout time who have walked and enjoyed these same things. Reaching Canterbury and having our pilgrimage blessed was a special moment in the home of Christianity in England and it has given us a feeling of connection to the new Archbishop Sarah. Thank you Torin for such a warm and unexpected greeting.
